Marcelo Ruiz de Olano
Co-founder
Before kpk, Marce led OpenEthereum—the team responsible for maintaining the ex-Parity Ethereum client. He trained in Financial Engineering, pursuing a career with Chevron as a project manager on major capital projects. Marce oversees our investor relations, marketing, talent and social responsibility.

Alejandro Romero
Co-founder
Ale is a trained project & process engineer, with experience working at Toyota. He later become the Head of Process Improvement at Mercado Libre, Latin America’s largest tech company. Ale oversees kpk’s core operations, together with our governance, growth, finance and legal functions.

Ruca Sousa Marques
Head of Product
Ruca was the former founder and CEO of a payments processor. After the company’s acquisition, he started working on the development of a decentralised payment network that evolved into Gnosis Pay. He later joined kpk to help establishing industry leadership in DeFi and onchain asset management, and leads our Product and Institutional teams.

Santiago Gonzalez Zerbo
Head of Engineering
Santi is a trained electronics engineer and holds a Doctorate in Engineering, graduating summa cum laude. Before kpk, he was a Professor of Physics and Probability & Statistics at the University of Buenos Aires. Santi joined kpk in October 2021 to lead our Engineering & Technology team.
